Xeno Tools is designed to work without collecting your data. Here is, simply, what happens.
Last updated: October 11, 2026What you enter in a tool is saved in your browser’s local storage and is not sent to any server. Clearing your browser data therefore erases your work: remember to export it or save it to your account.
To produce a PDF, your resume is sent to our server, laid out and sent back: it is neither stored nor logged. JSON export and photo processing are done entirely by your browser.
Importing an existing resume, the writing assistant, cover letter writing, tailoring to a job offer and translation are optional. They are only used if you start them, after your explicit consent, given for each imported file, each assistant session, each letter written, each offer analyzed and each translation. The following is then sent, through our server, to Claude, Anthropic’s AI model:
Xeno Tools keeps neither imported documents, conversations nor job offers on its servers: the resulting resume and letter are saved in your browser, and the conversation stays there until you end the session. After tailoring, the offer and its keywords are saved with the tailored version of the resume, like the rest of its content (in your browser, and in your account if you sync it). We only record technical data without any content (date, type of action, duration, volume processed, credits used).
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by no longer using these features and ending the current session; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Anthropic acts as a processor, does not use this data to train its models and only keeps it for a limited period, under its commercial terms and its privacy policy. Processing may take place outside the European Union, in particular in the United States; these transfers are covered by Anthropic’s data processing agreement, which includes the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Do not include sensitive data (health, religion, opinions, social security number…): it has no place in a resume. AI suggestions may contain errors: always review your resume.
The account is optional: it lets you sync your documents across devices and use credits. We then process:
This data is processed to provide the service you request (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is kept as long as your account exists. If you delete it, your account, documents, credits and sessions are erased immediately; the log of paid actions is kept in anonymous form for statistical purposes. To prevent the same welcome bonus from being obtained several times, we keep a fingerprint (hash) of your email address for 3 years, with no link to your account or documents (legitimate interest: fraud prevention, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and our authentication provider’s security logs may keep a trace of your sign-ins for a limited time.
Payments are processed by GeniusPay, a payment provider: you enter your payment details (Wave, Orange Money, MTN Money, Moov Money, bank card) directly on its page. Xeno Tools never receives or stores your card or mobile money account numbers. To create the payment, we send it the amount, a purchase reference and your email address.
For each purchase, we keep the pack, amount, date, payment reference and status, in order to credit you and meet our accounting obligations (legal bases: performance of a contract and legal obligation). These records are kept for the legal retention period for accounting documents; if you delete your account, they are kept without any link to your identity.
If you open a referrer’s link, their code is kept in a cookie for 60 days to link you to them when you sign in. We then record this link (your account, the referrer’s account, the date and the method: link or code entered), to grant you the planned bonus and calculate their commission. The referrer only sees the number of their referrals and the amount of their commissions, never your identity or your use of the service.
If you are a referrer, we keep your code, your commissions and the payout details you provide (account holder’s name, operator, phone number), sent to GeniusPay for each payout. Legal bases: performance of a contract (program terms) and legal obligation. Commissions and payouts are accounting records, kept for the legal period; if you delete your account, they are kept without any link to your identity.
Signing in with Google is optional: you can always sign in with a simple link sent by email. If you choose it, here is exactly what happens to your Google account data.
Xeno Tools’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc.. Accounts and synced documents are hosted by Supabase Inc. (region: European Union). AI features use Anthropic PBC (United States), and payments GeniusPay. These providers act on our behalf and may not use your data for other purposes.
